HomeSafe Driving School

The standards for our trainers transcend what the DMV mandates as well. For most schools, an individual is simply required to accomplish 60-hrs of training, usually conducted by the employing school, then pass a written exam at DMV to qualify as an instructor. There is very little, if any, accountability observing this person’s or school’s quality of instruction.

DMV instructor licenses for behind the wheel training - The 60-hour course and written test
Credentialed Middle School Teacher
CHP certificated commercial class “B” license
Youth & Lead Pastor Ordination and experience working with families and developing character
Special Needs and Rehabilitation training and experience in rehabilitation hospital setting
Dynamic car control skills courses, including skid recovery
Culture Change Coaching Certifications and workshops

Each of our staff brings a portion of these different disciplines, as well as other individual achievements, knowledge, and distinctives to our program. These, along with continued external education and internal monthly collaboration, contribute to create an environment of ongoing learning that make HomeSafe Driving School’s instructors among the best on the road.
